How It's Made

This beautiful glass feather is hand crafted with care by Scott. The process starts by gathering molten glass onto a metal rod. Next, the cremains are carefully added to the molten glass and encased within. This glass creates the center of the feather where colorful molten bits of glass are added to each side, being crimped and cut to sculpt the feathers edges. Once the glass is cooled overnight it is polished and finished with a suede cord so it can be hung in a sunny window as a beautiful and colorful remembrance.
